The Bank attracts money resources of foreign investors on deposits. In course of attraction of deposit investments from non-residents, deposit rates are set individually. The procedure of a deposit allocation is quiet simple and consists of the following steps. 1. Opening of a deposit account. If you planning to visit Ukraine, you can open a deposit account personally, by visiting one of departments of our bank in one of the following cities: Kiev, Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk and Lugansk (addresses and contact numbers are attached). Otherwise, your authorized person, by virtue of a letter of attorney, can open a deposit account for you. When a legal person allocates a deposit, a letter of attorney issued in the name of a representative of a legal person is necessary in either case. If you do not have an authorized person in Ukraine, accounts can be opened on the grounds of the documents sent to the Bank by post. In case of your interest, we will send you the detailed list of documents as soon as we receive from you an inquiry letter by e-mail. 2. Signing of the Deposit Contract. Form of the Deposit Contract can be obtained by e-mail, after sending us an inquiry letter to: investin@cambio.com.ua. Details can be agreed by means of correspondence. 3. Depositing money, reception of accrued interest, return of the deposit amount. Money can be transferred on a deposit account from any account, including accounts opened outside Ukraine. Accrued interest will be transferred on the specified by you account (including account opened outside Ukraine). The deposit amount will be returned by the Bank on the account, specified by you in the Deposit Contract. 4. Taxation If deposit belongs to a physical person, an accrued interest is not taxed in Ukraine. (This exemption acts until the 1st of January 2010). If the deposit belongs to a legal person, a 15% repatriation tax must be paid from the amount of accrued interest. The Bank will withhold the repatriation tax at payment of accrued interest. Owner of deposit will receive the accrued interest amount, decreased by the amount of the paid repatriation tax. But it is necessary to underline that, if your company is a resident of a country with which Ukraine has signed the Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement, the repatriation tax rate can be decreased (down to 0%, 5% or 10%, depending on the country). Currently such agreements are signed with fifty countries. In order to pay repatriation tax at the decreased rate (including zero rate), it is necessary to present a certificate, testifying that your company is the resident of the country with which Ukraine has signed the Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement. The Certificate must be legalized or attested by apostil. All news | Read more:
